SUBSTANCE: invention relates to improvement of grain collection. Method of harvesting machine operation control includes gripping bulk-grain image carried by harvesting machine; using feature extractor to image to determine feature of bulk-grain in image; for each of a plurality of different locations of the sample in the image, a classification score is determined based on the bulk-grain feature at the sampling location for presentation of the material classification at the sampling location; outputting a signal indicative of quality of bulk-grain on images based on a set of classification points of different locations of the sample; automatic control of working settings of harvesting machine based on signal when harvesting machine field and when collecting bulk-grain by harvesting machine. Harvesting machine operation control method is implemented by a computer-readable medium with a cleaning machine program.

EFFECT: proposed control method of harvesting machine operation and computer-readable medium containing program logic for control of harvesting machine operation, increases accuracy of selected grain collection.
