FIELD: sewer systems and installations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sewer systems and installations, and in particular to devices for preventing the return of waste liquid and gases associated with it. The sewer check valve includes an inlet funnel-shaped part and an outlet part in the form of a flattened tube molded from an elastomeric material in the form of a single whole. The inlet funnel includes an annular section passing into two curved sections converging towards each other and towards the longitudinal axis of the valve. The flattened tube is formed by a pair of walls connected by side seams, made with the possibility of contact between the internal surfaces with the overlap of the passage channel and with the possibility of elastic deformation under pressure with the restoration of the passage channel. The upper edges of the walls are conjugated with the corresponding curved sections and adjoin the annular section in the zones of the side seams, forming conjugations with it. The valve is made of silicone rubber, while the thickness of each of the walls of the flattened tube exceeds the thickness d of the material of the funnel-shaped part by 1.1-2 times, with the exception of the side seams, in the zone of which the thickness is from 0.65d to 0.9d, and trailing edges, made with a thickness of 0.5d to 0.75d.
EFFECT: increasing the resistance of the valve design to excessive back pressure and eversion, while at the same time ensuring the possibility of quick and maximum full disclosure of the valve passage to pass fluid masses and its rapid closing after that.
