SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used to determine the direction of arrival of radio signals. The effect is achieved in a method based on the registration of signals by elements of the receiving antenna array, characterized in that the signals of N=4 non-directional or equally directed elements of the antenna array are used, the phase centers of which lie at the vertices of a regular tetrahedron at a distance R from the center of the tetrahedron, where R is the radius of the described sphere, and the measured vector of total phases is formed on N antenna elements, the three-dimensional coordinates of which are given by the matrix of coordinates, the three-dimensional wave vector k of the arrival of a plane electromagnetic wave is determined, from which the bearing θ and the elevation angle β are determined from the relations: θ=arctg(kx/ky), β=arcsin(kz/|k|).

EFFECT: increasing the speed and ensuring uniform over the entire range of spatial angles, the accuracy of determining the direction of arrival of the radio signal, as well as expanding the arsenal of technical means.
