FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering, namely to turbine construction, and can be used in the installation of condensers operating as part of steam turbine units (STUs) at a power plant. The technical problem that the invention is aimed at solving is the load of the upper support belt of the foundation of the turbine unit with the transfer of the vertical load obtained from the reactions of the spring blocks to the low-pressure cylinder. The problem is solved due to the claimed method for installation and operation of the turbine unit condenser, which consists in installing the condenser 4 on the supporting spring blocks 5, welding the condenser adapter pipe to the exhaust part of the low-pressure cylinder, in which the load on the upper support belt of the turbine unit foundation 1 from part of the water mass in the condenser water space is transferred to the lower foundation plate 7 through supporting foundation struts 6 and spring blocks 5 of the condenser 4, characterized in that the transfer of vertical load to the exhaust pipe 2 of the turbine when the cooling water flows are turned off is perceived by wall ties 12.
EFFECT: reducing the load on the upper support belt of the foundation of the turbine unit without transferring the vertical load received from the spring blocks to the low-pressure cylinder.
