FIELD: sealing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealing technology and can be used to seal movable shafts and rods operating in vacuum. During the entire period of operation, automatic autonomous supply of magnetic fluid is carried out into the sealed working gap between the shaft and the pole tips, which occurs due to the action of constant overpressure in the magnetic fluid filling system created by a cargo piston located in a vertical cylindrical housing in a position above the level of the vacuum seal housing. Sealed channels are made in the housing and pole tips, suitable for all root annular grooves in the pole tips and serving to ensure automatic refilling and refilling with magnetic fluid of the entire working gap between the shaft and pole tips throughout the entire operation time, while the channels are connected by pipelines to the bottom of the vertically positioned cylindrical housing filled with magnetic fluid, hermetically separated from the atmosphere by a cargo piston placed in the same cylindrical housing, and in both end caps of the seal, oil-removing gaskets and support sliding bearings for the shaft are installed.
EFFECT: provision of autonomous automatic supply of magnetic fluid under constant pressure into the working gap of the seal during operation at any time in demand; increased reliability and service life; simplification of the design.
