FIELD: hydrometallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydrometallurgy, in particular, to methods for hydrometallurgical processing of sulfide copper-nickel ore raw materials, characterized by fine dissemination of sulfide minerals and a high proportion of nickel in silicate form. Joint grinding of copper-nickel raw materials with ammonium sulfate, low-temperature roasting of the obtained charge and water leaching of clinker are carried out. When this jointly crushed mixture is crushed to particle size <40 mcm at a ratio of raw materials and ammonium sulfate in the mixture = 1:7-1:10. Roasting is carried out at a temperature of 400±15°C for 240±20 minutes with the possibility of regeneration of ammonium sulfate by trapping off-gases. Clinker leaching is carried out in distilled water heated to 80±5°C at the ratio S:L=1:15-1:20 and constant stirring with an intensity of 230±20 min-1 for 40±5 minutes.
EFFECT: reduction of energy intensity, selectivity of processing of sulfide copper-nickel concentrate, extraction of copper and nickel within 95-99%.
