FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment for converting pressure changes in various media. Pressure sensor consists of a body, a membrane, two elastic elements, a disk, a bar, a body of an electrochemical cell, an electrolyte, current leads, a contact assembly, and a cover. The elastic elements are implemented in the form of semicircular metal plates with rectangular sections at the ends thereof; the disk and the bar are made of a rigid insulating material, and the body of the electrochemical cell is made of an elastic insulating material. The disk is secured in the centre of the membrane, and the bar is secured to the bottom of the body; one of the rectilinear sections of the elastic element is secured on the disk, and the other one is secured on the bar. One open base of the electrochemical cell is secured to the middle of the convex surface of the first elastic element, the other open base is secured to the midpoint of the concave surface of the second elastic element; the electrochemical cell is filled with the electrolyte.

EFFECT: direct conversion of strain of elastic elements into electrical signal; solution to the problem of increasing the accuracy of pressure change measurement in a wide dynamic range of operation; eliminated power source.
