FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, in particular, to highly accurate absolute measurements of angular movements. An inductive absolute converter of angular movements contains two annular plates of a stator and a rotor, on which planar mutually overlapping windings of scales of precise and rough count are located, formed with conductive tracks, as well as an electronic unit. On the stator plate, transmitting winding consisting of arc-shaped conductors, two scales of precise count shifted relatively to each other by ¼ of T-period, identical receiving windings of the scale of precise count, consisting of inductive elements periodically located and counter-connected in pairs and 2n-receiving windings of the scale of rough count are located. At the same time, the scale of rough count of the rotor of the converter is split into two subscales of: bit depth (n-1) and bit depth 1 with a period equal to T-period of the scale of precise count, receiving windings of the stator of the scale of rough count of bit depth 1 are made of inductive elements located with a step T and counter-connected in pairs.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurements, resistance to impact of negative climatic factors, high performance, and compactness.
