The dispensing system assembly 10 comprises a first element 11 provided with a first opening 17, a second element 12 provided with a second opening 18, and a drive 20 connected to at least one of the first 11 and second 12 elements and configured to provide a driving force for relative movement between the first 11 and second 12 elements to adjust the size of the metering hole 19. In this case, the metering hole 19 is provided with an overlapping area in which the first 17 and second 18 holes overlap. The second element 12 is forcibly moved in response to the linear movement of the first element 11, while the linear movement is driven by the actuator 20. The relative movement is carried out by the linear movement of at least one of the first 11 and second 12 elements. The dosing system for the spreading machine is characterized by the presence of the above node 10. The spreading machine includes a container for storing bulk material to be distributed, a spreading device configured to distribute bulk material, and the above dosing system configured to dose bulk material received from the storage container, to the spreader.
