SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to a method and device for measuring the flapping motion, conicity and approach of aircraft rotor blades. To implement the method, a device with video cameras fixed on it is installed on the main rotor shaft so that the object is in the center of the frame, video cameras are calibrated, video recording is performed in specified flight modes and on the ground, video recordings are transferred from memory cards to a computer, video files are processed, screen coordinate values are obtained, which are then converted into real values, a diagram of the dependence of screen coordinates on the real values of the division scale is plotted, indicators of the position of objects of observation are calculated based on the data obtained. The device contains video cameras and means of their fastening, made in a certain way.
EFFECT: increased accuracy, reliability and convenience of measurements, simplification of mounting and dismounting on a helicopter.
