FIELD: controlling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of configuration of dispersion equipment with diffraction gratings, to methods for monitoring the spatial and angular characteristics of laser emission. System implementing the method for configuring a laser compressor on parallel diffraction gratings consists of an auxiliary alignment mirror secured parallel to the first grating on a rim, configured to be thrown into the optical path; an optical collimator with a CCD camera, installed at the inlet of the compressor; a complex of prisms composed of a fixed reference prism installed outside the propagation zone of the working laser beam and an adjustment polyhedral prism on a rim is used to transport the emission reflected from the gratings and direct said emission to the collimator, configured to be thrown into the optical path in a certain position; wherein the angles of inclination of the faces of the adjustment prism are determined by the angles of reflection of emission from the diffraction gratings and the auxiliary adjustment optical element.
EFFECT: facilitated monitoring of the parallelism of the two gratings of the laser compressor, increase in the accuracy and ease of configuration.
