FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, namely to the field of radio navigation, and can be used in the construction of receivers for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), in particular GNSS receivers Glonass (Russia), GPS (USA), Galileo (European Union), Beidou (China), QZSS (Japan), IRNSS (India), SBAS. In the invention, the function of generating pseudo-random sequences (PRS) of heterogeneous signals is taken out of multiple tracking channels of a multi-frequency multi-system GNSS receiver into a single universal PRS generator that serves all tracking channels in turn. Centralization of the PRS generation function with a large number of receiver tracking channels provides significant equipment savings. Sufficient performance of a single PRS generator for servicing multiple receiver tracking channels is achieved by transmitting the PRS lines from a single generator to the tracking channels via a dedicated multi-bit bus. Certain values of the width of the PRS lines, which ensure the constancy of the time intervals between the requests of the tracking channels to receive the next line, reduce the requirement for the speed of the parallel bus of a single generator.
EFFECT: saving the total equipment of a multi-channel receiver of GNSS signals when using a single universal PRS generator, which, upon requests from a plurality of tracking channels, generates blocks (lines) of the PRS used in GNSS signals by the most economical means suitable for a particular type of PRS.
