FIELD: radiation protection.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of protection from X-ray and gamma radiation. A method for protection from impact of X-ray and gamma electromagnetic penetrating radiation, using a shielding medium installed on a radiation pathway to a protection object, contains stages, at which, using the shielding medium, waveguide deflection of X-ray and gamma electromagnetic penetrating radiation from the protection object is performed, consisting in multiple complete external deflection of the specified radiation.
EFFECT: provision of object protection, using a device with reduced weight and size characteristics.
