FIELD: train management.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for interval regulation of train traffic with blocking of track sections in the case of determining the location of working personnel on the tracks using ACS devices. The method consists in the fact that in addition the train traffic zone is divided into one or more separate controlled zones. At the same time, the lengths of individual controlled zones chosen are less than the length of the train’s braking distance. The borders of each controlled zone are arranged: inside the train traffic zone and at each passage point to the train traffic zone, with access control and management devices. By means of each access control and control device the following is recorded: the entrance and exit from the train traffic zone of each individual subject or controlling the movement of each subject between separate controlled zones within the train traffic zone. A controlled zone is considered occupied if: at least one subject is located within its borders. At the same time, all coordinate segments located partially or entirely within the boundaries of the occupied controlled zone are also considered occupied until information is received about the absence of subjects within the boundaries of the controlled zone from the appropriate access control and management devices or by entering a responsible command by the operator.
EFFECT: improved train safety is achieved.
