SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of motor vehicles. A method for heating a vehicle in winter conditions is proposed, which consists in using a portable prefabricated collapsible frame device placed on the body of a vehicle 3, including side containers 1 mounted on a horizontal base 2, intended for storage and transportation of prefabricated frame elements 5 , on the outer wall 9 of which there is an opening with a cover. The base 2 of the device is provided with at least four hinged supports 4 for connection with the frame elements 5, and an additional luggage compartment 6 is formed between the side containers 1, and a portable gas heater is used for heating, containing a heating unit with a burner placed in a hollow body 10 with a flat bottom and top hinged lids 14, fixed in closed form by means of a locking handle 11 mounted on a swivel support on the front side of the housing 10, moreover, on the side wall of the housing 10, an opening 12 with a sliding door 13 is selected, which forms access to the burner 18, installed at the bottom of the housing 10 and made with the possibility of attaching to a gas cylinder, which is used as an infrared gas heater, and the heating unit is made in the form of a horizontal plate 16 and is composed of at least three horizontal sheets 17 located on top of each other with gaps formed by connecting sheets with through rings tubes 19 located along the peripheral part of the plane of the plate 16, moreover, the inner sheet is made of a shortened length to create a ventilation channel, and an opening is selected in the bottom sheet, along the perimeter of which the walls of the burner shaft 18 are welded, associated with the ventilation channel.

EFFECT: maintaining the optimal temperature regime to ensure the vehicle's performance in winter conditions.
