FIELD: gas and oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas and oil industry, in particular to equipment for operating an oil or gas well, and may be used for performing annulus gas and oil-bearing formations or sections hermetic separation from each other. Hydraulic packer comprises a tubular hollow casing with a sleeve on the casing that forms an annular channel between the outer surface of the casing and the inner surface of the sleeve, a ring-shaped piston and a ring are fitted to the outer surface of the casing in the annular channel, the ring and the piston are inserted between the ring-shaped piston and the ring and are secured against movement by individual shear bolts. The ring and piston are axially movable after unlatching and the piston retaining hardware has less shear strength than the ring retaining hardware. The cavity between the ring and the piston is communicated with the casing cavity via a hole in the casing, a hole in the ring and a channel formed by part of the outer surface of the ring and the inner surface of the sleeve. The packer contains a hollow sleeve designed to increase in diameter when pressure in the packer cavity increases. The outer surface of the sleeve has a groove in the annular channel, which communicates the cavity between the ring and the piston and the annular channel in the activated position of the packer, when the piston is in its outermost position away from the ring. The sleeve cavity is communicated with the casing cavity via a one-way valve, an annular channel, a groove on the outer surface of the housing, the cavity between the ring and the piston, the ring channel, the hole in the ring and the hole in the casing, with the piston extending to its extreme position furthest from the ring, with the possibility of further separating the casing cavity from the annular channel by cutting off the fasteners that fix the ring, by increasing the pressure in the casing cavity and moving the ring to its extreme position furthest from the ring.
EFFECT: invention provides for providing possibility to activate the hydraulic packer without using additional descending tools.
