SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, to a device for powering a cryosurgical instrument and a method for monitoring of a cryosurgical instrument, and allows for control of a physical state in an instrument and in a fluid supply line. The fluid line contains both a supply line and a return line with the possibility of supply to a cryo-tip of an electrical control signal passing from the device to the cryosurgical instrument and its cryo-tip and back, along the fluid line, to the device. Accordingly, the device contains a control signal transmitter, an echo signal receiver made with the possibility of reception of an echo signal, and an analyzing device made with the possibility of recording, based on the echo signal, of changes in a physical state in the instrument or near it, and/or in the fluid line or near it. The monitoring method includes, respectively, above-mentioned supply of electrical control signals, reception of echo signals generated by one or several electrical control signals, analysis of echo signals, and recording of change in a physical state in the instrument or near it, and/or in the fluid line or near it.
