SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical devices materials production, in particular to solid oxide electrolyte materials with proton conductivity based on barium-lanthanum indate (BaLaInO4), which may be used as an electrolyte material in proton conducting solid oxide fuel cells used for electricity generation. Material is a barium-lanthanum indate doped with gadolinium and has the following composition: BaLa0.9Gd0.1InO4.

EFFECT: invention provides possibility to create material based on barium-lanthanum indate characterized by high proton conductivity at T < 450°C and pH2O = 2∙10−2 atm.
