FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering; it can be used in creation of UHF range receivers of radar stations of a superheterodyne type with upper setting of a heterodyne frequency. In a method for suppression of mirror interference, mirror interference is suppressed by filtration and absorption of its energy in a load. In a device for suppression of mirror interface, which is a valve based on a ferrite Y circulator, containing a microstrip Y-joint located between two ferrite elements, a cylindrical magnet, matching circuits, and a resistor, placed on a metal base, the matching circuit of Y circulator includes a shorted, with a length from 0.25λ1 to 0.5λ1, and an opened, with a length from 0.25λ2 to 0.5λ2, segments of a coaxial line with dielectric ceramic filling with external conductors of square cross-section and internal conductors of a round cross-section, where λ1 and λ2 are wavelengths of mirror interference and a useful signal in dielectric.
EFFECT: reduced losses of a useful signal, increased interchange of a transmitter from a receiver at a mirror interference frequency, better weight and dimensional characteristics.
