FIELD: mixing.

SUBSTANCE: static mixing element for a mixing device is intended for installation into a hollow case or as an independent pipeline element, and it includes a mixing element consisting of at least two systems located coaxially to the axis of the static mixing element and perpendicular to each other, when projecting them on a projection plane perpendicular to the axis of the static mixing element, while each system is formed with at least two planes intersecting at angles not equal to 0°, in each of which rib elements lay, which, in turn, are located at angles not equal to 0° to the axis of the mixing element, at least two described systems of rib elements, perpendicular to each other, intersect in each cross-section. The static mixing element is made by one of 3D printing methods, preferably by a selective laser sintering method, in which a monolithic mixing element or the entire mixing device consisting of a set of rib elements intersecting in such a way that voids formed in intersection of rib elements are holes for passage of media to be mixed is formed layer-by-layer.

EFFECT: simplification of a structure, while saving mixing and spraying quality.
