FIELD: filtering technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a filtering medium for folded filter elements or pocket filters, a method for its manufacture, a method for electric charging, an electrically charged filtering medium, as well as the use of a filtering medium. The filtering medium contains at least two layers of non-woven material interconnected by pneumatic compaction of fibers. At least one of these layers is a thin-fiber layer, and the fibers of the thin-fiber layer have an average diameter of 600 to 1200 nm. The filtering medium contains at least one layer of spunlace material and at least one thin-fiber layer, while the fibers of the layer of spunlace material have a length of 38 to 60 mm. The electric charging method for the filtering medium is characterized by the fact that the filtering medium is electrically charged. The filtering medium is used as a liquid filter, an air filter, a filter for air engineering installations, a filter for gas turbines, an indoor filter, a fine filter of dust from the outside air or a filter for a vacuum cleaner.
EFFECT: providing filtration of fine dust.
