FIELD: aviation technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation technology, namely to vertical and short takeoff and landing aircraft, and is intended for tiltrotor aircraft equipped with a single rotor with a jet compressor drive, folding and unfolding in flight. A short takeoff and landing tiltrotor aircraft, including a main rotor that can be retracted and extended in flight, a power source for the main rotor, a power transmission system for rotating the main rotor and a control system for the main rotor. At the same time, the tiltrotor aircraft is configured to achieve a cruising speed of 820-900 km/h and is provided with a jet-compressor drive system of a folding main rotor, equipped with compressed air intake pipes from compressors of mainline dual-circuit turbojet engines with the possibility of transmitting power air flow through pipelines into the channels of the blades to the end nozzles of the folding main rotor and to the tail control ejector, as well as with the ability to switch channels to work in the cabin air conditioning system.
EFFECT: present invention comprises a short takeoff and landing single-rotor tiltrotor aircraft with a system of a jet-compressor drive of a folding main rotor having optimal parameters, increased reliability and safety of use in conditions of folding and opening the propeller in flight.
