FIELD: aeronautical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aeronautical engineering, namely to vertical and short takeoff and landing aircraft. The VTOL convertiplane contains a folding rotor with a jet-compressor drive system. The drive system is provided with a separate turbocharger based on a gas turbine engine, which is installed in the upper part of the fuselage under the fairing in front of the wing center section, made according to the high-wing scheme. The turbocharger is equipped in front with a movable air intake flap, and at the rear with side exhaust pipes and a compressed air bleed pipe into the pipelines of the main rotor and the tail control ejector.
EFFECT: increased reliability and safety of use in conditions of folding and opening of the propeller in flight.
