FIELD: embryo implantation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of methods for preventing unsuccessful embryo implantation, as well as preventing or reducing the risk of developing ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome in a female subject suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome. A method is provided for preventing failed embryo implantation in a female subject suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome, comprising administering a composition containing myoinositol and D-chiroinositol in a mass ratio of 3.66:1, respectively, to this female subject. Also, the use of a composition containing myoinositol (MI) and D-chiroinositol (DCI) in a weight ratio of 3.66:1, respectively, in preventing or reducing the risk of developing ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome in a female subject suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome and undergoing a therapeutic procedure of ovarian stimulation is provided. The administration of a combination of MI/DCI at a weight ratio of 3.66:1 to women suffering from PCOS significantly increases the pregnancy rate due to the normalization of the implantation phase of the embryos, despite the high proportion of DCI relative to MI.
EFFECT: in addition, women with PCOS who have been treated with assisted reproductive technology have a lower risk of ovarian hyperstimulation when using a composition containing a combination of MI/DCI in the above ratio.
