FIELD: medicine; gynecology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used for treating infertility in a patient. In order to stimulate development of euploid blastocysts and for future blastocyst transfer, the method involves identification of a patient having serum level of anti-Mullerian hormone (AMN) greater than or equal to 4.7 ng/ml and the number of antral follicles (AFC) greater than or equal to 10 in both ovaries together before treatment/stimulation. Dose of 75 to 300 IU (international unit) or equivalent dose of hMG (human menopausal gonadotrophin) per day from day 1 to at least 5 days of treatment is administered. Group of inventions also refers to a method of treating infertility in a woman who does not have PCOS (polycystic ovaries syndrome) at risk of severe ovarian response to controlled ovarian stimulation.

EFFECT: use of this group of inventions enables to perform assisted reproductive technology using highly purified menotropin (HP-hMG) for stimulating follicular development in controlled ovarian stimulation, especially in women at risk of severe ovarian response to controlled ovarian stimulation.
