SUBSTANCE: assembly of structural components of the vehicle contains a crash box and a crash extension. The crash extension contains a hollow body. The rear end of the crash box includes a crash box connector comprising a back plate and a top plate. The top plate of the crash extension connector is in contact on the top wall of the crash extension hollow body, and the crash extension connector also includes a bottom plate in contact with the bottom wall of the crash extension. The process of the assembly of the vehicle structural components includes the following: installation in a predetermined position of the front cross member, crash extension, rear crash extension connector plate, holder bottom plate and crash box connector; fastening of the crash extension connector, the bottom plate of the holder and the front cross member and the crash box connector. A motor vehicle containing said assembly of structural components.
EFFECT: increasing of the safety of vehicle passengers.
