FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: electronic device comprises a display screen and a camera facing the display screen; the camera has a subject side and an image side and includes a lens unit with a lens barrel and a lens group located in the lens barrel. The lens group has a first lens closest to the subject side, while the first lens has an effective area and an ineffective area formed around the outer edge of the effective area. The ratio of the thickness at the centre of the effective region to the thickness of the ineffective region is greater than or equal to 2.5 and less than or equal to 3.5. The lens frame has a first end facing the object side and featuring an opening where the effective area of the first lens is located. The lens mounting also comprises a first support portion on which the ineffective area of the first lens rests. The first end of the lens mounting has an upper portion surrounding the hole, which has a sidewall with a thickness greater than or equal to 0.1 mm and less than or equal to 0.25 mm.
