SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The method for protecting locally contaminated soils from herbicides is characterized by the fact that it includes the introduction of active carbon into the soil, and active carbon is used with a micropore volume of 0.25-0.40 cm3/g, a ratio of micropore volume and transport pores of 0.4-0.6, and its introduction into the soil is carried out outside the pollution zone with embedding to a depth of 10-15 cm, while the width of the annular processing strip is 0.2-0.6 of the radius of the pollution zone, and the active carbon dose is 150-400 kg/ha.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to expand the functionality of soil purification from local pollution with high concentrations of potent herbicides by introducing activated carbon into the soil in an annular strip around the pollution zone with a certain ratio of the strip width to the radius of the pollution spot.
