FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of protecting farmland soils from herbicides and can be used in agriculture or forestry when solving problems of protecting the lithosphere. Method of localizing herbicides on the route of oil and gas pipelines involves adding to the soil active coal containing an herbicide solution and embedding it in the soil. Active carbon contains the herbicide solution in a volume equal to 0.80–1.0 of the total pore volume of the coal. Herbicides used are “Shkval” or “Grader” herbicides at an herbicide dose of 5.0 l/ha. Activated coal is embedded in soil at depth of 10–15 cm. Dose of coal with herbicide is 150–200 kg/ha.
EFFECT: increased degree of herbicide localization in soil.
