SUBSTANCE: cabbage harvester contains a cutting device, a cutter conveyor for head finishing, a longitudinal conveyor, an elevator with a carriage, cinematically connected to a roller leaf separator into one unit with the ability to move along the longitudinal conveyor, simultaneously be driven from a common rotating shaft and direct commodity heads from the longitudinal conveyor into an appropriate container, as well as an unloading device with an elastic tray (10) and a flexible apron (11). The unloading device is configured to adjust the length of the sagging parts of the elastic tray (10) and flexible apron (11) using a common drive mechanism as cabbage accumulates in containers. The drive mechanism is made in the form of a rack and pinion gear (12) connected to an elastic tray (10) and a chain gear (16) connected to a roller (15), on which an apron (11) is fixed with an upper end along the generatrix, with the ability to receive a drive through the worm gear (17), cardan shaft (18) and handle (19) from the operator.

EFFECT: stability of the transportation of cabbage heads by an elevator is ensured in the course of adjusting the height of their shipment into containers as they are filled with cabbage.
