FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: methods and machines for cleaning grain. The device for aerodynamic separation of a grain heap consists of a loading hopper, an operating channel and a receiving device. The bottom of the hopper is made rotating with a size-adjustable supply window in the form of a sector. The operating channel is cylindrical in shape with a diameter equal to the diameter of the bottom of the hopper, divided into sectors by vertical partitions. The receiving device has a diameter not less than the diameter of the operating channel, it is divided by vertical partitions into compartments in the form of sectors and rotates synchronously with the bottom of the loading hopper with a supply window. With the help of the device, a method of aerodynamic separation of a grain heap is carried out, including a continuous dosed supply of a heap, processing it in a vertical operating channel and collecting the separated fractions in a receiving device. The grain heap is fed into the operating channel from the supply window moving around the circumference of the channel, the air is stationary in the operating channel, and the collection of the separated fractions is carried out by a receiving device divided into compartments and rotating synchronously with the heap supply window.
EFFECT: improved quality of aerodynamic separation.
