METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REMOVAL OF LEAVES AND/OR FLOWERS FROM STEM Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A01D45/00

SUBSTANCE: method for removal of leaves and/or flowers from a stem, in particular for removal of hemp leaves and/or hemp flowers from a stem, is proposed, in which following stages are performed: a) winding is formed around the stem, which is formed on at least one section of wrapping means elastic or curved with tension and withstanding tension in a direction of winding, and b) the stem is pulled in its longitudinal direction through winding with removal of leaves and/or flowers from the stem; the stem is carried perpendicular to a direction of removal into a zone partially limited by means of wrapping means, and the specified zone is then completely closed with wrapping means and other possible winding elements and decreases along a perimeter until the stem is completely or at least mostly wrapped by wrapping means and other possible winding elements; a cord, cable, or tape made of polymer material and/or metal, in particular stainless steel, is used as a wrapping means. A device for removal of leaves and/or flowers from a stem contains a remover for forming winding around the stem, from which leaves and/or flowers are removed, when the stem is pulled through winding in the longitudinal direction of the stem. The remover has wrapping means elastic or curved with tension, withstanding tension, and it is designed so that, when operated by means of the mentioned wrapping means, at least at one section, winding around the stem is formed. The remover is made in such a way that it forms a zone in a loading position, which is partially limited by means of wrapping means, and into which the stem is inserted perpendicular to the direction of removal. The zone is then, when the stem is inserted, completely closed by means of wrapping means and other possible winding elements and decreases along a perimeter until the stem is wrapped by means of wrapping means and other possible winding elements. The remover, as a wrapping means, contains a cord, cable, or tape made of polymer material and/or metal, in particular stainless steel. A system for implementation of a method for removal of leaves and/or flowers from a stem, in particular for removal of hemp leaves and/or hemp flowers from a stem, contains a device for removal of leaves and/or flowers from a stem and a retractor for pulling the stem in the longitudinal direction of the stem through winding formed by means of the removal device, with removal of leaves and/or flowers from the stem. The use of a device for removal of leaves and/or flowers from a stem, in particular for removal of hemp leaves and/or hemp flowers from a stem, is described. The use of a system for removal of leaves and/or flowers from a stem, in particular for removal of hemp leaves and/or hemp flowers from a stem, is also described.

EFFECT: simplification of removal of leaves or flowers from a stem, while improving a speed of removal, as well as reducing damage.
