SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for regulating the treatment of wastewater from the production of butadiene-nitrile rubbers, specifically to the purification of sulphate-containing anionic surfactants by adding a coagulant based on a quaternary ammonium polymer salt, namely polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride (polyDADMAC) is used as a coagulant in the amount of 17-28 kg per 1 ton of rubber at a mass ratio of surfactants: polyDADMAC equal to 1.0: (0.38-0.48), surfactant binding is carried out at pH 3.5-4.5 and a temperature of 45-55°C for 30-45 minutes. The regulation of the completeness of wastewater treatment is carried out by changing the amount of polyDADMAC solution supplied depending on the number of surfactants entering the coagulation cascade together with NBR latex, and changing the amount of sulfuric acid solution supplied depending on the pH of the wastewater.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of binding surfactants to 95-97%, reduce the amount of water for diluting concentrated industrial effluents, reduce the surfactant content in wastewater to a level below the TLV and reduce the volume of wastewater discharged into water bodies.
