FIELD: shaving devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shaving devices. The shaving unit comprises at least one hair cutting unit, comprising an outer cutting element having hair entry holes in the surfaces of the cutting path, and an internal cutting element having at least one hair cutting element, and a main element supporting at least one cutting element. The shaving unit further comprises at least one skin heating element, comprising a skin contact element having a skin contact surface adjacent to said at least one hair cutting unit, and at least one source of infrared light or near light infrared range built into the element for skin contact. An infrared or near infrared light source is thermally coupled to the skin contact surface and configured to emit infrared light or near infrared light through the skin contact surface.
EFFECT: improved shaving quality.
