FIELD: electrical and power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: prompt emergency shutdown of power equipment when exposed to high temperatures, for example, in case of fire, as well as overload, overcurrent, short circuit and electric current leakage. A distinctive feature is the simultaneous use of a differential phase shutdown mechanism and a zero N shutdown mechanism, a fire-extinguishing aerosol generator (FAG) together with an electric FAG igniter, and: a) the initiating thermal sensitive device t1 and the tripping thermal sensitive device t2 located in the zone of exposure to heat arising during operation of the fire-extinguishing aerosol generator (FAG); b) the initiating thermal sensitive device t2 and the tripping thermal sensitive device t1, which are connected in series with each other.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of primary fire extinguishing with an increase in the efficiency of preventing the spread of fire in a confined space, in particular, such as an electrical panel, while simultaneously protecting against electric current leaks.
