FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a herbal remedy with a sedative, hypotensive and antioxidant effect. A method for obtaining a herbal remedy with a sedative, hypotensive and antioxidant effect, including triple extraction by maceration with stirring of the aerial organs of motherwort reduced by an aqueous solution of ethyl alcohol, combining water-alcohol extracts, settling at a temperature of +6°C for 3 days and filtering, extraction with 60% ethyl alcohol of raw material particles with a size of 1 mm at a ratio of raw material — extractant 1:18, at an extraction mixture temperature of +50°C, complete removal of the extractant from the combined extracts to obtain a dry residue containing a total of flavonoids of at least 2%.
EFFECT: above invention allows to increase the content of biologically active substances in the target product, to expand the raw material base and the spectrum of pharmacological action.
