EJECTOR UNIT FOR ACCELERATING THE AIR FLOW AND ITS APPLICATION (OPTIONS) Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC F03D1/04

Abstract RU 2792494 C1

FIELD: wind power plants.

SUBSTANCE: wind power plants with wind flow accelerators, concerns an ejector unit for accelerating the air flow and options for its application. It relates to renewable energy, in particular to wind power plants with wind flow accelerators. The ejector unit for accelerating the air flow consists of four shells, made of different sizes and diameters, increasing from the front shell to the fourth shell, and installed in each other. The front shell is installed inside the second shell, the second shell is installed inside the third shell, the third shell is installed inside the fourth shell. Each shell has the shape of a hollow truncated cone with a convexity on the inner surface, and the wider part of the cone of the shells is directed outward, and the narrower part is towards the rear of the installation. The fourth shell is made with a flap. A capsule is installed inside the second, third and fourth shells. The shells are interconnected by stiffening ribs. The fourth shell is connected to the capsule by stiffening ribs. The fourth shell is fixed on the rack. A generator is installed in the capsule on the shaft. A wind wheel containing blades with stubs is fixed on the generator shaft. The proposed installation is used as an operating unit of a megawatt unit, as well as a source of renewable energy for recharging batteries in electric vehicles.

EFFECT: increase in the factor of acceleration of the air flow inside the structure and, as a result, an increase in the productivity of the unit, as well as an increase in environmental friendliness, simplification of maintenance and repair.
