FIELD: coatings production.
SUBSTANCE: production of bactericidal coatings based on industrial waste, used in various biologically protective coatings, in particular, for anti-fouling coatings of the underwater part of ships, powerboats, boats, etc. The method includes preparing a film-forming solution with a pH value of not more than 7 by acid treatment of oxides, hydroxides and carbonates of magnesium, calcium and zinc, applying a film to the surface of a metal part, drying the coated part and subsequent heat treatment. At the same time, to prepare a film-forming solution, galvanic sludge is used, which is formed during the treatment of wastewater from galvanic production and nitric acid, followed by neutralization of the solution to pH=5-6. Heat treatment of the coating after applying the solution to the surface of the metal part is carried out at a temperature of 650-700°C.
EFFECT: increasing the stability of coating properties and expanding the process possibilities for obtaining bactericidal coatings by obtaining a bactericidal coating using galvanic sludge formed during the treatment of wastewater from galvanic production as an initial material.
