FIELD: dosimetry of ionizing radiation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of solid-state dosimetry of ionizing radiation, based on the phenomenon of optically stimulated luminescence, in particular in one of its most functional and promising direction — pulsed optical stimulation. The invention relates to the field of solid-state dosimetry of ionizing radiation. The method for obtaining profiled anion-defective aluminum oxide single crystals for pulsed optically stimulated luminescent dosimetry of ionizing radiation additionally contains the steps of simultaneously growing 10–30 cylindrical single-crystal aluminum oxide rods with a diameter of 5 mm and a length of 150–300 mm, after melting the feedstock, the melt is held for 10–25 minutes, and the growth is carried out at a variable speed of 0.8 mm/min at the beginning of growth and 1.5 mm/min at the end of growth, aluminum oxide powder with the total content of the main impurities: Si, Fe, Ni, Cr, Mg, Ti, not more than 5·10-5 wt.%.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy, reliability and reliability of dosimetric measurements.
