SUBSTANCE: method for treating and/or preventing atopic dermatitis in a human subject includes applying to the subject's skin an effective amount of a pharmaceutical formula containing 0.001-0.01% by mass of ivermectin relative to the total weight of the composition and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, the composition being formulated for topical application.
EFFECT: it provides effective treatment and/or prevention of atopic dermatitis with a reduction or absence of side effects.
