FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for the treatment of strongylatosis in horses, including the use of an anthelmintic agent, characterized by the fact that composition containing the active ingredients oxybendazole and ivermectin is used as an anthelmintic agent, methionine is used as a hepatoprotector, as well as polyethylene oxide-400, polyethylene oxide-1500, benzyl alcohol, glycerol and additionally polyvinylpyrrolidone and sucrose at the following ratios of components, wt.%: oxibendazole — 22.0; ivermectin — 1.5; methionine — 3.0; polyethylene oxide-1500 — 16.0; polyethylene oxide-400 — 10.0; glycerol (glycerol) — 19.0; sucrose — 5.0; polyvinylpyrrolidone — 15.0; benzyl alcohol — the rest is up to 100, and the composition is used once orally at a dose of 4.5 grams per 100 kg of animal live weight.
EFFECT: convenient method to increase the therapeutic efficacy of the composition used in it without any stressful and side effects on the animal organism.
