FIELD: to water-based drilling fluids.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates specifically to polycationic drilling fluids, and can be used for drilling clay and salt rocks. Polycationic drilling fluid includes, in % by weight: clay powder 3-4; polyanionic cellulose 0.4-1.0; a cationic polymer that functions as a stabilizer and filtration reducer, as well as an inhibitor of clay swelling, - polyamine polyepichlorohydrindimethylamine polyEPIDMA with an active substance concentration of 30 to 50% by weight 2.2-4.2; colmatant - chalk 5-10; the rest is water.
EFFECT: decrease in the filtration rate of the drilling fluid.
