FIELD: veterinary gynecology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the treatment of acute postpartum endometritis in cows. A medicinal product heated to the body temperature of the animal is injected into the uterus of cows. The medicinal product contains a mixture of a florfenicol solution prepared on the basis of purified water containing 4 g/l of the active ingredient, a tetrachloride solution containing 4 g/l of the active ingredient and used as an antifungal active ingredient, a 3% aqueous solution of a mixture of sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate, taken in equal proportions, and novocaine, which is intensively mixed with propylene glycol in the following ratio, wt.%: florfenicol solution containing 4 g/l active ingredient, 3, tetrachloride solution containing 4 g/l active ingredient, 3,3% aqueous solution of a mixture of sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate 3, novocaine 1, hellebore tincture 1, purified water 15, propylene glycol the rest. Medicinal product is administered at a dose of 50 ml per animal 2–3 times with an interval of 72 hours.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the therapeutic effect by increasing the effect on opportunistic microflora, reducing the duration of treatment and costs.
