FIELD: transport equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention enables accelerated unloading of wheeled and tracked vehicles from open railway rolling stock in the absence of stationary loading and unloading platforms. The loading and unloading device includes a horizontal platform located at the level of an open platform of a rolling stock with a pitched ramp. The device consists of box-shaped frame gabions with a solid filler. Gabions are interconnected with the possibility of forming fixed transverse and longitudinal structures. The gabions of the pitched ramp are configured in form of truncated rectangular prisms. The inclined faces of the gabions form the sloped surface of the ramp. Wear-resistant non-slip flooring is laid on the upper surface of the device.

EFFECT: reduction of labour and time costs associated with construction of a loading and unloading device.
