FIELD: navigation systems.
SUBSTANCE: celestial navigation systems for small aircraft (A/C). Astrovision device consists of an input optical system with a lens, a radiation detector placed on the inner frame of the suspension, an external frame of the suspension, an information processing unit, the first and second computing devices (CD). The inner and outer suspension frames are equipped with drives and rotation angle meters, which are connected to the first and second CD, respectively. The information processing unit is an interconnected hardware processing unit, made in the form of an interface device, and a software processing unit, containing a third CD connected to each other for processing video data received from the radiation receiver, and a fourth CD. The input-output port of the information processing unit is configured to connect to the control device of the A/C navigation system. The first CD is located on the inner frame of the suspension and is connected to the second input-output of the information processing unit. The second CD is located outside the information control unit and is connected to its third input-output. The fourth CD is made with the possibility of calculating corrective amendments to the A/C navigation parameters.
EFFECT: increasing the speed of setting the axis of sight of the lens of the astrovision device to a given star and the accuracy of data synchronization and, as a result, increasing the accuracy of calculating corrections to attitude angles for correcting the A/C flight path while reducing weight and size characteristics and power consumption.
