FIELD: dry cleaning of clothes.

SUBSTANCE: dry cleaning of clothes, in particular methods for extracting waste in form of a slurry liquid. Method for extracting residues of an organochlorine solvent from dry cleaning sludge waste includes supplying a sludge liquid to a closed circulation circuit consisting of a distillation zone and a zone of mixing the sludge liquid with generated water vapor connected to it via suction and discharge lines, forming an azeotropic mixture in the latter, further separating the resulting mixture in the distillation zone into a steam component in the of water vapor and an organochlorine solvent and a liquid component in form of a mixture with sludge and solvent still remaining in it, while the steam component then condenses into a zone for separating water from an organochlorine solvent, which is returned in pure form to the dry cleaning production, and the liquid component returns to the closed circulation loop. At the same time, the sludge liquid is fed through the suction line through the heat exchanger, in which it is heat treated by the generated water vapor, with periodic removal from the heat exchanger to the water condensate suction line.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of the solvent extraction technology from liquid sludge, while at the same time increasing the efficiency of the process.
