FIELD: firefighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to extinguish fires, namely, manual fire nozzles designed to form and direct a compact or spray jet, as well as to shut off the supply of fire extinguishing mixture. The hose barrel contains a body, inside which a channel for supplying fire extinguishing liquid is formed, a handle, a means for shutting off the flow of fire extinguishing liquid. The channel for supplying fire extinguishing liquid inside the housing is divided into two channels. A nozzle is installed at the outlet of each channel from said body. The means for shutting off the flow of fire extinguishing liquid is made in the form of a sealing installed in each channel. Said sealings are made with two through perpendicularly intersecting holes. The first mentioned opening of each sealing is made with the possibility of providing the passage of fire extinguishing liquid through the channel to the nozzle. The first rod is installed in the second mentioned hole of the mentioned first sealing. The second rod is installed in the second mentioned hole of the mentioned second sealing. Both mentioned rods are made with a through channel, the axis of which is perpendicular to the axis of the rod. Said first rod is installed in such a way that the axis of the hole made in the rod coincides with the axis of the first hole in the first sealing, and accordingly the said second rod is installed in such a way that the axis of the hole made in the second rod coincides with the axis of the first hole in the second sealing. The first and second rods are installed with the possibility of rotation around its axis and, accordingly, with the possibility of opening or closing the first opening of the sealing.
EFFECT: use of the claimed technical solution makes it possible to increase the efficiency of fire extinguishing, accelerate the switching of modes, while ensuring the compactness of the device.
