SUBSTANCE: interference-resistant information input unit contains an information input module consisting of a plurality of independent capacitive elements with a size of each not exceeding or slightly exceeding the contact area of a human finger, and a distance between the elements that contributes to a change in the capacitance value of several capacitive elements at once when a person interacts with the information input module in general, the area of the information input module as a whole exceeds the maximum pressing area of a human finger, and the computing module for measuring the actual capacitance values of the capacitive elements. The computing module is configured to normalize the actually measured capacitance values of the capacitive elements; determining the adaptive threshold; calculation of the resulting capacitance values taking into account the adaptive threshold; comparing the resulting capacitance values with an adaptive threshold; making a decision about the fact of the presence or absence of pressing the information input module as a whole.
EFFECT: increased noise immunity of the information input unit from external disturbing influences, which allows it to be used in particularly harsh operating conditions, including as a product for industrial use.
