FIELD: antenna technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related in particular to devices for mechanical movement of antennas. The antenna drive control system contains an antenna-starter drive for rotation movement, a PAA drive for elevation movement, position sensors for rotation and elevation, a manual control panel, while each of the vector-controlled drives includes a frequency converter and a synchronous motor with a rotor position sensor, the control system also contains a computer system with a control unit connected by a serial interface to frequency converters of electric drives via two positioning channels for rotation and elevation coordinates, while the position sensors for rotation and elevation are connected to the computer through a conversion unit angular coordinates, each frequency converter includes an input voltage filter assembly, a microcontroller connected by inputs to a control unit and motor rotor position sensors, and an output to a driver assembly, which, through a gate resistor assembly and a power assembly, is connected to electric drive.

EFFECT: increased reliability of the control system and improved controllability of drives in terms of frequency and torque.
