SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the development of atmospheric radio sounding systems (RSS), built on the basis of the radar method and the use of signals from global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) GLONASS/GPS to determine the spatial coordinates of radiosondes (UARS), transmission of coordinate and telemetric information to a ground base station (BS). The navigation and radar system for radio sounding of the atmosphere additionally contains in the structure of the radar station a unit for processing navigation coordinate and telemetry information to ensure the RSS operation in radar, radio direction finding and radio navigation modes in the range of carrier frequencies 1680±10 MHz. The navigation-radar radiosonde additionally contains a unit for receiving GNSS navigation signals, equipped with a super-regenerative transceiver, in the functional diagram of the UARS.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy, noise immunity and reliability of receiving coordinate-telemetric information from the UARS, expanding the functionality and reducing the operating costs of the RSS.
